Ha and Chris met in Saigon, Vietnam in 2018. After exchanging lukewarm messages online, and Ha's plans for one evening falling through, they met at a whisky bar in District 1. Unfortunately, Ha is not a big whisky fan and Chris's memory of that evening is consequently rather hazy. But he knows it was positive enough to ask Ha if she would prefer something that involves more food next time. Fast forward six long years and Ha and Chris are still in Saigon, where they live in "marital bliss" (Chris's words) and/or "a fortunately big enough space" (Ha's words) together with their pedigree street dog, Bruno.

Both Ha and Chris love traveling and have been to 13 countries together.

Chris proposed to Ha in Bicheno, Tasmania in January 2024 after several botched attempts.
